My date of birth is incorrect, how do I update this? If your date of birth is incorrect on your account, we’ll need to update it for you manually and verify the correct information. To do this, please send us one of the following legal documents: • A valid South African Smart ID Card • A colour photo of the front of your driving licence (photocard) • A clear image of the photo/ID page of your passport • A full image of your birth certificate, as long as it shows your current name ❗ Important: A driving licence can only be used for either date of birth verification or proof of address - not both.
