What is the National Responsible Gambling Programme? The National Responsible Gambling Programme (NRGP) is South Africa’s official self-exclusion and support initiative for individuals experiencing gambling-related harm. It is operated by the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF) and is supported by legislation. If you register for self-exclusion through the NRGP, your details will be shared with relevant gambling operators and provincial gambling boards. Any accounts you list in your application may be excluded from gambling activity for a minimum of six months. During this period, you will not be permitted to access those accounts, and operators may deny entry to gambling venues or online platforms.
